So my family and I run this 5k in my town each year. I expected to be so extremely awful this year because I’m approaching finals week.
I beat my time last year by 6 minutes! It was the first time I could run certain hilly sections without having to stop!
I’m so weird. I think I’m the only person ever that lost the freshman fifteen.
Is it because I’m an architecture major? What has studio done to me?

Today was a good day.
So I haven’t weighed myself in three months, but all of a sudden my pants are looser and my clothes look a little nicer than before.
I’ve been eating generally healthier (black coffee instead of lattes, salads instead of ChickFilA sandwiches, etc).
I’m not breaking my back to lose weight. I’m making small changes.
I’m happy with my progress, and I haven’t even weighed myself.
I mean, it’s just a number, right?
